Francisco Montero Aguilera, Indian Rosewood/Cedar 1983
Guitarbuilder from Barcelona. He is the brother of the famous guitarbuilder Juan Montero Aguilera from Cordoba.
Francisco is not so well known, but he obviously is very skilled in his profession. Intricately carved adornments on the head, bridge and rosette as well as inlays on the neck make this instrument a unique piece. It is in very good condition with almost no traces of having been played. The sound is very good and powerful with a sassy touch thanks to the cedar soundboard: It sounds very flamenco. Very good value for your money.
