Thorsten Sven Lietz
Very good guitar builder from Essen, Germany. He has been making all kinds of guitars for many years, e.g., classical, archtop, western and flamenco guitars. I decided to have guitars from Thorsten Sven Lietz in my range of products, because I have already purchased several excellent instruments from him. His instruments have a very high quality of sound. Because Rafael Cortes lives nearby, he can have Rafael test his guitars, which has encouraged him not to stop building flamenco guitars. This stubbornness has paid off. In the meantime, he makes a flamenco model that can certainly hold its own with many Spanish guitars. The sound is harmonious with clear base sounds and easy playability. I like the finish very much. Light, luxurious adornments such as mother of pearl in the sound hole and snake wood in edge inserts and in the head make his instruments a delight for the eyes.
