John Ray
John is a Canadian and has lived in Granada for more than 10 years. He was influenced decisively by Rolf Eichinger, a German guitar builder, who also has lived many years in Granada. He is internationally recognized as a guitar builder with a very good finish and refined sound. He builds his flamenco models as a copy of an old Marcelo Barbero from the end of the 40s. I have already had several instruments of this type in my shop. They are somewhat smaller than the normal shape and consequently very easy to play. The sound is outstanding, slightly dry, but a great sustain, ringing and sweet.
