New and used guitars

A guitar from the workshop of the Faustino brothers. They made guitars in the 40s and 50s on behalf of the widow of her famous uncle "Domingo Esteso" with the label "Viuda de Domingo Esteso” (Widow of Domingo Esteso). These are all excellent flamenco guitars and virtually the beginning of the long Conde era This instrument has a label without signature, i.e., it is a 2nd model. Nevertheless, top-quality woods were used. It produces a very balanced, charming sound. Not very loud, but a very nice sound, with good bass and nice trebles. There are 2-3 well-repaired cracks on the side and a small square piece of wood inserted. There is a 10 cm long repaired crack on the back close to the side at the level of the bridge. I bought the guitar without tap protection and had one applied. There are no cracks on the soundboard. The cypress is exceptionally good quality as well as is the cedar of the soundboard. There are 2 short small cracks at the end of the side. Otherwise, the polish looks like the first original lacquer, which has been subtly refurbished. All in all, the guitar is in very good condition for its age. It is very easy to play thanks to its short scale and narrow and thin neck. It also has perfect string position.

A genuine historical instrument for a very good price.
