Francisco Barba

Barba is for Seville what Reyes is for Cordoba. His instruments have become continually better since the 90s, and his is also one of the five best flamenco guitar builders in Spain today. Many a known guitarist from Seville has played his guitars. His two sons Juan and José have been very involved in the work for a few years. However, the quality has not worsened as a result, and I even find that the guitars sound better each year. They are easy to play and have a large, round sound, something very special to them. His quality have made them to one of the most expensive and respected luthier after Lester DeVoe. Many years of waiting have unfortunately become the normal state of affairs for his guitars.
